Having worked in film and video for over 25 years in a variety of positions, Andy Olson has the well-rounded experience in not only post but also in development and production that makes an effective moviemaker.
Currently, he works as a freelance video producer and editor. He was a producer and editor on Songwriters Across Texas, a TV show on the CW Austin where he managed the principal production, post and commercial shoots. He works with talent, clients and crew on a day-to-day basis and is very much a team player in the highly collaborative world of film and video production.
An award winning filmmaker having screened films in festivals like Austin Film Festival, Andy knows what it takes to bring a video project from concept to production through post and distribution in a timely manner. He has produced and directed over ten narrative short films as well as numerous commercials and TV shoots over the past year alone. One of those projects placed in the TOP 50 out of 1120 in the recent My Rode Reel 2014 online contest.
